![]() The boy comes up with the excuse that he was thinking of a prop he needed for his dance routine, and comes up with a fire hydrant. The boy turns around to see Lance, the maestro of Wonderworld, asking him what's wrong. He sits in distress over this vision until a voice calls out from behind him. Behind this girl stood a strange, shadowed figure with a large grin and a top hat pulled over his eyes. In his vision, he sees a girl of around thirteen or fourteen- his age- who he had never met before, yet somehow seems familiar. ![]() As he continues to dance, he suddenly becomes uneasy, and a vision flashes in his mind, throwing him off focus and to the floor. I Unexpected Company: Leo, who has now been in Wonderworld for so long that he has forgotten his name and is no longer considered "Leo", spends most of his days dancing on his stage- or the world he made for himself within Wonderworld. He enters, the doors closing behind him, and vanishes from the world. The feeling becoming stronger the longer he wanders down the alley, Leo spots a mysterious theatre. One he had passed by countless times, but is just now getting the feeling of being called to it. The Beginning: The novel begins with Leo Craig refusing to join a group of dancers, instead continuing to walk down an alleyway. The following contains spoilers to Balan Wonderworld. Through its doors they embark on an adventure into the magical land that dwells within all our hearts: Balan’s Wonderworld! One day-just as it does for you and for all-it appears to an aloof boy and a warm-hearted girl in their time of greatest need. Though you might not remember, you’ve been to this theatre many times before. As a final tip, if you get hit during the Lanced fight and you still have other Lanced enemies to fight, finish the fight, then when the achievement pops you can quit to console and keep your Hard Mode status. The Balan Theatre will always be there when your heart needs it most. I think killing regular enemies in the level helps but this is pure speculation and hasn't been confirmed. I don't know how rare the spawn is - I got a LOT of red enemies before the Lanced versions showed up (except for Multipli). ![]() Quitting to console will allow you to keep trying. If the red one spawns, IMMEDIATELY quit to console, DO NOT return to the Isle of Tims or you will have to reset the level again by beating the chapter's main boss. When spawning, the mini-boss will either be red or purple - you want the purple one. If you have already spawned or defeated the mini-bosses before entering Hard Mode, you will have to defeat chapter 9's main boss to reset the levels. Once in Hard Mode, the Lanced Nessi will appear as the mini-boss in 9-2. ![]() These red enemies mean you are now in Hard Mode, and when you finish the level you will receive a red stamp instead of a gold one. Run in circles killing enemies (Pumpkin Puncher is a good costume for this) until enemies start appearing red. You enter Hard Mode by killing a bunch of enemies without taking any damage (from any source) - the best place to do this I think is 6-2. To find this enemy, you need to be in Hard Mode. Before going for this achievement, it is HIGHLY recommended that you get the reward for doing the Tim of Legend achievement, as it will help tremendously with getting around the stages faster and without taking damage.
